The Control Panel is only visible to accounts with moderation access: full moderators, admins, or a regular member individually granted access to one or more specific areas. Anyone else who opens this page just sees a "Moderators and admins only" message.

Access levels
Admin: full access to every tab, plus the Control Panel tab itself (role management and site-wide stats).
Moderator: full access to every moderation tab, but not the Control Panel tab.
A regular member with individual scopes: an admin can grant a plain member access to just one or more specific tabs (Marketplace, Forum, People & reviews, Game catalog, or Game Night & open seats) without making them a full moderator.
Only the tabs an account actually has access to show up for them.
Control Panel tab (admins only)
Site-wide stats: total users, game nights, reviews, listings, ratings given, pending submissions.
Role management: promote or demote anyone between Member, Moderator, and Admin, or grant/revoke individual section access, from a dropdown/checkboxes next to their name. You can't change your own role or access from here.
Suspend a user (site-wide): click Suspend, then pick a duration: 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, a custom number of days, or No end date for an indefinite suspension. It takes effect immediately and locks the account out of the entire site until it's reinstated or the time passes on its own.
Reinstate a suspended user: one click, no confirmation needed.
Suspend a user from the forum only: separate from the site-wide suspension above, same duration options. This only blocks starting new threads or posting replies; they can still use everything else on the site, including reading the forum and managing their own existing posts.
Reinstate forum access: undoes a forum suspension.
Remove a user's account entirely: a confirmation prompt, then the account is gone, freed from any game nights, with marketplace listings taken down. Past reviews stay up, re-attributed to a removed account.
Delete a game night group: from the "All game nights" list, admin-only, with a confirmation prompt.
See "Account suspension & forum restrictions" for what this looks like on the receiving end.
Game catalog tab
Review community-submitted games (see "Suggesting a new game" for the submitter's side of this):
Approve: adds the game straight to the live catalog. If required fields (player count, playtime, complexity, mechanics) are missing, approving is blocked, and you'll be pointed toward "Request changes" instead.
Request changes: sends it back to the submitter with a note on what's missing. They'll see this next time they open the submission form.
Reject: turns it down with a note explaining why (a duplicate, for example).
Marketplace tab
Remove any listing site-wide, with a confirmation prompt.
Forum tab
Remove any thread (and its replies), with a confirmation prompt. Finer-grained actions, like editing a single post, sending a post to draft, moving a thread's category, or deleting one specific reply, happen on the thread itself (open it from here), using the same moderator tools available on the Forum page to anyone with forum access.
People & reviews tab
Remove any review or any single comment on a review, each with its own confirmation prompt.
Game Night & open seats tab
Remove any open-seat post, with a confirmation prompt.
A note on record-keeping
There's no separate audit log page. An action either leaves behind a visible trace (a moderator's note on a submission's history, for example) or just removes the item outright: nothing further is tracked beyond that.
