Account suspension & forum restrictions

This article covers what you see if your account has been suspended or if you have forum restrictions.

In this article: Site-wide suspension · Forum-only restriction

Site-wide suspension

If your account is suspended site-wide, every page shows the same lockout screen instead of the normal site: no navigation menu, nothing else usable. The screen tells you:

  • That an admin has restricted your account and it can't be used right now.

  • Either that the suspension has no end date, or the exact date and time you'll be let back in.

  • To reach out to whoever runs the site outside the app if you think this is a mistake: there's no in-app support channel to contact.

The only thing you can do on this screen is Sign out.

If your suspension has a set end date, you don't need to do anything once it passes: the site stops treating you as suspended the next time you load a page. An indefinite suspension stays in place until an admin reinstates you.

Forum-only restriction

This is separate from a full site-wide suspension, and much narrower. If you're restricted from the forum specifically:

  • You can still use every other part of the site normally: collection, ratings, marketplace, game nights, messages, all of it.

  • You can still read every forum thread and every game's discussion section.

  • You can still edit or delete posts you'd already written before the restriction.

  • The only thing blocked is starting a new thread or posting a new reply. Wherever you'd normally see that option, you'll see a message instead explaining you're temporarily restricted, and when (or whether) it lifts.

Like a site-wide suspension, a time-limited forum restriction lifts on its own once the time passes: nothing for you to do.
