The Forum is site-wide discussion: general chat, trades, rules questions, strategy, site feedback. Discussion about one specific game happens on that game's own page instead (see "Game pages"), using these same tools.

Categories
Threads sort into one of five categories: General, Trades, Rules Help, Strategy, or Site Feedback. Use the category filters at the top of the Forum page to browse one at a time, or view them all together.
Starting a thread
Click "+ New thread," pick a category, give it a title (up to 120 characters), write your first post, and click "Post thread."
Replying
Open any thread and use the reply box at the bottom: write your reply and click "Post reply."
Editing or deleting your own posts
Anything you've written can be edited (click Edit, make changes, Save, or Cancel to back out) or deleted (with a confirmation prompt). Delete the only post in a thread and the whole thread goes with it.
Deleting a whole thread
The thread's original author can delete it entirely, replies included, with a confirmation prompt first.
There's no upvote or like button on forum posts, just reading and replying.
If you can't post
If you're currently restricted from posting in the forum specifically, you'll see a message in place of the reply box, explaining that you're temporarily restricted and when you'll be able to post again. You can still read every thread and edit or delete anything you'd already posted before the restriction: only new threads and new replies are blocked.
